About
Jennifer Midkiff (B.A., M.M.) is an enthusiastic, energetic musician who brings her professional performing and teaching experience to bear with a variety of instruments in an array of venues.

In addition to her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music, Jen holds a current Indiana Professional Educator’s license and is certified for K-12 music education. Most recently, Jennifer served as the choir director at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School from 2005-2013, returning this year to private lesson teaching in order to have more time with her family. She offers lessons for voice, piano, Celtic harp, and pedal harp.

Jennifer first saw music as her career when she became a founding member of the Indianapolis Children’s Choir at the age of 13. She has toured both Western and Eastern Europe with different choirs, performed as a soloist with community performances of Handel’s Messiah, and plays harp for weddings, funerals, corporate banquets, and other special events. She is currently involved in two local music ensembles: Alair, which performs traditional Irish music, and Wild Mercy, which is a Celtic-infused folk-rock band. In 2008, Jen was awarded a Lilly Educator Grant.

Jen's first solo harp/vocal CD, "All in Good Time", was released last year, and is available on CDBaby.com and iTunes. It has received consistent five-star reviews from its listeners.
